synopsis
Faymis:
Tina and Trish have been best friends since forever. They both share the same dream- to become a FAYMIS actress. Tina has an idea. And when Tina has an idea it gets done. The girls pack their bags and fly from Sydney to LA. To become FAYMIS they try to blend in with what they believe to be "FAYMIS" behaviour. The girls are 100% clueless and completely out of their league. They sit at cafes, pursue the LA diet, tally up many parking fines, meet with suspect agents, land on a pornography set, all while chasing after their greatest dream of meeting Adrian Grenier and Vince Vaughn. Fall in love with these two girls as they take the rollercoaster ride known as Hollywood.
Who is Tina Jenkins?
24 years old. Born in Sydney, Australia. Attended Newtown Performing Arts High School. After finishing school Tina worked as a door bitch at one of Sydney's underground Kings Cross night clubs while also doing promotional work. She has acted in a couple of student short films and has been part of many a pantomime production at her local shopping centre, but has had no professional acting experience in her life whatsoever.
Tina spends her waking hours thinking about boys.....and getting FAYMIS.
Who is Trish McKenzie?
24 years old. Born in Sydney, Australia. Attended Newtown Performing Arts High School. After finishing high school, Trish was hired as an apprentice for the local Boost Juice and was soon promoted to store manager. Her favourite part of the job was discovering the many names she wrote on the drink orders. Trish has a love for new characters. Her professional acting bio includes a couple of roles in fast food commercials and the starring role as the Hunchback in the local production of the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Trish dreams of getting FAYMIS and falls in love.....at the drop of a hat.
How did Tina and Trish meet?
First day of school, Tina found Trish crying in the playground. She offered Trish the last bite of her Sunny Boy ice block. They have been best friends ever since.
